SMITH+SMITH provided landscape architectural design services for the renovation of this outdoorsy Marin County retail center. Soft materials, interactive, rustic landscape amenities and a primarily Northern California planting palette including olives, lavender and redwood make the pedestrian-oriented plaza and boardwalk a charming family-oriented destination with edible gardens, a water garden, climbable tree trunk sculpture and plenty of area for gathering and socializing.
